CHALLENGE

Bessemer Venture Partners, in partnership with Salesforce Ventures and Forbes put on The Cloud 100 Awards Dinner, where they honored business leaders named to The Cloud 100, the definitive list of the top private cloud companies in the world, published by Forbes.

For one night only, the world’s leading public, private and rising-star cloud CEOs gathered in one room for a fantastic culinary experience, great entertainment and good company. The evening included the top public and private cloud company CEOs, cloud industry luminaries, leading investors and many of The Cloud 100 Judges.

Bessemer Venture Partners admire those who aren’t afraid to break with convention and are driven to push the limits of what is possible with technology and product. As they prepared to host an awards show whose attendees included the world’s most prominent venture capitalists, they needed an event management company that could handle the pressure that comes with producing a high-profile awards show.

SOLUTION

They called Lightspeed. BVP needed to roll out the red carpet and they knew that Lightspeed had the chops to make it an event to remember. From venue selection, to judges, to theme, to writing the brief – no detail was overlooked. No corners were cut. Attendees were entertained by one of the stars of HBO’s Silicon Valley as they took part in an awards show that was covered by Forbes, Fortune and CNBC.
